Your privacy is critically important to us. Anatype ("the App") is designed to provide a distraction-free writing environment on macOS. We believe that your writing belongs to you and you alone.
This Privacy Policy explains how Anatype handles your data. In short: We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data.
Anatype does not collect, transmit, or store any personal identifiable information (PII). We do not require you to create an account, and we do not track your usage of the App.
All documents, text, and files created or edited within Anatype are stored locally on your device (your Mac). The App does not upload your content to any cloud servers or external databases managed by us. You retain full ownership and control of your data at all times.
A core feature of Anatype is the ability to temporarily disable internet access to provide a distraction-free experience.
Anatype does not integrate with any third-party analytics providers, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs. No data is shared with third parties because no data is collected.
Because your data is stored locally on your device, the security of your documents relies on the security of your Mac. We recommend keeping your macOS version up to date and utilizing standard security features (such as FileVault) to protect your local data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our application or legal requirements. Since we do not collect your email address, we recommend checking this page periodically for any changes. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.
